What is 36-Hour Giving Challenge
It is a fund-raising event organized by the Community Foundation of Sarasota County for the benefit of local non-profits. The money is raised on a special website in a fixed 36 hour period.

Why contribute via the Giving Challenge
The Community Foundation supplements your gift with its own funds, enhancing your effective contribution. The organization has over $645,000 to distribute among this year's Giving Challenge participants, including PSA.

What will your contribution accomplish
We usually ask for contributions in the fall. And, every year, the proceeds go toward the pressing operational needs of the new academic year. We hope that this additional drive will allow us to make longer term improvements in our classroom audio-visual capability and on-line registration.

How to contribute
Contributions for the Giving Challenge must be made by clicking this link, which will take you directly to the donation page reserved for PSA. Payments must be made by credit card.

When to contribute
The Giving Challenge website will come to life on Tuesday, March 5, at 7 in the morning. It will remain active for the next 36 hours.
